Nebraska, where the West begins, has lots of cattle ranches and exports beef. You still can see some buffalos in the countryside -- along with loads of cows!

All five postcards came together in an envelope safe and sound. These stamps made my day and put a big smile on my face. I am a huge fan of everything green, including the colour itself! I try to go green everyday and am glad to say that I follow both advices on the stamps: days are mostly sunny where I live so I can let nature do the work. Also, I just walk or take the bus everyday and share rides when I need to go somewhere farther. ♪
On the top right, a stamp of the Wisdom mural of the Rockefeller Center in New York City with a facial value of $1, and below the gorgeous coffeepot painted by Lou Nolan from the American series (American Toleware).
Postcard from: Omaha, Nebraska, USA.
Received: March 2012.
Language: English.
Envelope: yes.
Stamps: four. Two Forever USA Go Green, "share rides" & "let nature do the work"; one $1 Wisdom, Rockefeller Center, New York City and one 5c American Toleware.
Thank you very much for these cards, Danielle! ♥

I began to guess these might be from Danielle as I went through them! Great postcards and nice to see views of where she lives.
ReplyDeleteShe sent me two cards more that arrived on the same day but I will be uploading these later.
DeleteHow fun to see them all together here! A little snapshot of my city and state! :) I love the Go Green stamps as well--they actually are very complimentary to the Spanish stamps in the Civic Values (not sure what the proper term is?) series. Thanks for sharing them! My own favorite is the museum, which I always enjoy visiting and think is a nice building and collection.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, they could be our Civic Values' (I think the translation is accurated) cousins. However, these are way cuter than our digital art stamps.
DeleteI love the museum card too, the building looks very elegant -- you cannot always say the same about contemporary buildings.
Me encanta el campo y la naturaleza, me adaptaría sin problemas a vivir en un sitio como este! Es precioso!
